Fried potatoes

Ingredients

600-700 g potatoes
2-3 Tbsps vegetable oil or dripping
ground nutmeg
salt

Preparation

Boil the potatoes until soft. Peel while still warm and use a slicer to cut into fine slices.
Heat the oil or dripping in a pan. Fry the potatoes until golden brown, seasoning with salt and nutmeg. Drain on kitchen paper before serving.

Cooking time: Boil for 15-18 minutes; fry for approx. 10 minutes
